We promote diversity and practice equity. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply.

All applicants will be requested to complete an application form for this opportunity via the Oxfam Australia website.

Formed in June 2007, the Oxfam Group Fair Trade Shop WA is committed to supporting Fair Trade and Oxfam Australia through voluntary work. The focus of the shop and group is the promotion of Fair Trade products and information to the wider community, whilst also raising funds for Oxfam Australia. Group members also attend community events, and in doing so sell Fair Trade products and raise awareness. There are also a range of items which support sustainability, such as bush skincare products and foods which are enjoyed by our customers.

If you have spare time during school hours, want to give back and have a positive impact in the community and in the developing world, learn about all things Fair Trade, meet new people and gain retail experience, we want to hear from you!

We are a not-for-profit group of volunteers, raising and donating funds to Oxfam Australia, raising awareness about Fair Trade principles, consumer habits and our individual impact that can help tackle poverty.

Shop duties include sales, customer service, ordering from and liaising with suppliers, pricing, and shelving/display, attending meetings (once a term), attending Christmas market stalls, etc.
