Who and What graphic designer we are considering or assist our charity organisation? we are not looking just for an experienced and skilled graphic designer, we are looking for a person with personal drive, determination, passion, creativity, eye for detail, using the latest trends in graphic design, good communication skills, able to work autonomously or with a team, respect for and understanding of diversity and different cultures and compatible with our purpose and vision.

You will spearhead the design of our websites and other web pages, we are committed to our Purpose which is to unite, embrace, preserve and showcase the Aboriginal people, Torres Strait Islanders, Pacific Islander, Maori, and other ethnic communities (our peoples) culture, customs, protocols and religious beliefs. Our Vision is to provide a clear pathway for our people to achieve those outcomes as described in the objectives and purposes stated under each sub structure.

We are committed to facilitating: a) establishing multicultural complex to promote and exhibit our people, our nations languages, folklore, dreamtime, indigenous arts, crafts and performances b)establishing a funeral directorship to accommodate our people’s cultural protocols, customs, religious and traditional beliefs in a time of loved ones passing c) establishing a registered training orgainisation to facilitate and design course curriculum for our people to assist in vocational education and their pathways, higher education courses and other related activities d) establishing a youth at-risk live-in program in outdoor experiential education complex to conduct life-skills training, improve interpersonal communication, teamwork, planning & decision-making process, health & safety awareness, environmental awareness, emergency response actions, leadership and management skill sets and much more.

As our charity organisation graphic designer, your duties will be to: a) fabricate online and offline communication material to engage support from the community and government agencies in raising funds for our charity b) design exceptional social media graphics (eye catching but not overpowering) including posters and fliers to market our website c) taking part or lead in creative brainstorm sessions to assist our charity to develop vibrant and modern communication strategies to enhance and promote our organisation d) use the appropriate graphic design programs (or free website to edit images and create stimulating visuals for our website, social media channels including emails) and any other duties as required that are not listed e) be fully cognisant of difference between personal design and charity organisational design needs to minimise conflicts.
