We are interested in, and welcome, musical diversity, eclectic genres and instruments and we encourage people from all cultural backgrounds to apply and participate. If you proficiently play an instrument and have some time to spare we would love to hear from you. Volunteers will be required to be active and independently able to manage up to a one hour shift possibly twice within the day between 9.00am - 2pm. Ability to follow directions, display empathy, maintain confidentiality and good communication skills are essential in this role. All potential Music Volunteers need to present for an interview and audition. If successful there will be training prior to commencement. All potential music volunteers will need to undergo a police check and immunisation status. Your music needs to be calming and relaxing, helping to elevate the mood but allowing the staff to continue working without distraction.
