Canberra International Music Festival (CIMF), one of Australia's premier classical music events, is held over a fortnight in April and May each year and features concerts, lectures and films held in our national institutions and Canberra’s iconic architectural spaces. Canberra International Music Festival is a not-for-profit organisation with part-time and casual staff. The Festival could not run if we did not have so many people who are willing to give their time and goodwill for specific roles during and in the lead-up to the Festival.

CIMF is supported by an army of generous volunteers, who have won praise from festival patrons and performers alike for their friendliness and helpfulness. In 2021, we will be seeking at least 70 volunteers in various positions: front of house, bar, driving, green room, light catering and set up tasks. We take great care to create a roster that balances the jobs outside the hall with a chance to see some concerts.

Volunteering with CIMF is a great way to learn more about the music, musicians and the industry. You can share your passion with like-minded people and rub shoulders with an exceptional range of artists.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
