The Swan Valley Memory Cafe has been running for over 4 years and has supported hundreds of people living with Dementia, and their carers, with a social activity, friendly faces, craft activities, song and dance and a good cuppa! This group is fully volunteer run, meets once a fortnight and its size is continuing to grow. Befriend is advertising on behalf of the Swan Valley Memory Cafe for someone who is friendly, warm, can help put out some chairs, make tea and coffee for those that attend and help create an inclusive atmosphere. The lovely group of volunteers will support you at every stage and you will have the opportunity to join in to as many, or as little, of the activities as you like. The Cafe is every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 10am to 12pm and meets in the hall next to the St Mary's Church, 3 Yule Ave, Middle Swan.
