The Shop Volunteer duties include:
- Prepare food for sale (i.e. sandwiches, rolls and salads in line with industry Food Safety Standards).
- Cash register and point of sale (POS) operations.
- Provide excellence in customer service to all consumers.
- Loading and unloading of dishwasher and cleaning food preparation areas.
- Assisting in stock control and replenishing shelves and refrigerators.
- Completion of Safe Food Handling training ( provided on site).
- Compliance with the Food Safety Plan is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
- Previous POS experience is desirable.
