AFL SportsReady is a national not-for-profit education and employment company. Since 1994, we have kick-started the careers of thousands of job seekers, including over 2,500 Indigenous Australians, supporting hundreds of organisations all across Australia.

We continue to increase our footprint through our First Nations employment program, which represents the support and opportunities created for First Nations people through quality education and employment. We focus on strengthening relationships, promoting respect and creating employment and education opportunities for Indigenous people.

BOARD DIRECTOR APPLICATIONS:

AFL SportsReady is seeking applications to fill a Board Director (Volunteer) vacancy. We are seeking a candidate with a background in Finance in order to complement the broad skills and experience of the current Board Director group.

First Nations candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.

The successful applicant will contribute to the Board’s passion and vision for giving young people the opportunity to start their careers with confidence, qualifications, and skills. In addition to joining the Board of Directors, the successful applicant would take on the role of the Chair of AFL SR’s Audit, Risk Management and Compliance Committee.
