Electrician

A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Electrician to join our team as a volunteer Electrician.

Bankstown Polish Club is a Co-Operative Community Club for Polish-Australians. We are open to all, and all visitors are welcome. The Polish Club’s mission is to improve the lives of Polish-speaking people and families living in Sydney, and assist them to become contributing, active participants in Australian society while maintaining a strong ethnic identity and a sense of community.

The Role:

We’re based in Bankstown. You need to have an understanding of lighting control systems, emergency lighting, switchboard controls and good knowledge of the electrical wiring rules.

You should be able to work in situations with limited supervision, work well within our team, lead others by example, complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner, and work in accordance with our project deadlines.

What You Need:

• NSW Qualified Supervisors or Contractors License.
• Able to read and interpret complex plans
• OHS White Card
• Able to work unsupervised
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
