Your compassion, patience and understanding of the elderly will be of great value in this role supporting the Coordinator. You'll be available at times when the client requests support. Types of support include picking up the client in your vehicle to take them shopping. You'll assist with the shopping & may be required to help with loading & unloading. You may also be asked to transport the client to medical appointments & social support functions. National Criminal check required.

Provide much valued assistance to clients who are frail and vulnerable in the community. Assist a highly regarded community service provider who aims to provide support, wellness and cultural programs to vulnerable members of our community. You will be reimbursed for using your own comprehensively insured vehicle (at ATO rate). You must have an unrestricted current drivers licence. Being bilingual or multilingual would be an advantage, but not essential, as for most clients, English is not their first language. This role is available across areas of Newcastle, Hunter, Port Stephens and Central Coast.
