Schools Outreach Team Member

Amnesty International

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people in over 150 countries who campaign to end abuses of human rights. Some issues that we campaign for include gender equality, freedom of speech, the death penalty, Indigenous rights, climate change, and refugee rights. Our goal is that we’ll continue to campaign relentlessly and give a voice to those who've had theirs taken away.

Here in the WA Schools Outreach Team, we’re a dedicated group of young activists who believe that schools are a perfect way to foster a passion for human rights amongst the youth.

Half of our team travels to Perth schools to run collaborative workshop/presentations with classes which focus on human rights and justice issues – domestically and globally.

Your role will be apart of the outreach team visiting schools. Therefore you will be required to be vaccinated as per the WA education guidelines.

A driver's licence is highly recommended as you will be required to attend and go to different schools.

This role is best suited to a university student or somebody who is available weekdays throughout the school year during school time.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
