MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a lovely 77 year old lady who lives in her own home in Werribee who would like a new female friend to go out and enjoy lunch or coffee together. She enjoys gardening, shopping and meeting people.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Good English communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language are very welcome to enquire
