SHF runs motor tugs and launches. These small vessels undertake frequent support work in and around the Fleet and additional workforce is needed. These tugs can operate on any day of the week We seek people with backgrounds and qualifications in maritime work. Work requires usual steel-capped boots, working clothes and maritime industry qualifications at appropriate levels. WHS training/inductions will be part of volunteering Volunteers are an essential part of Sydney Heritage Fleet projects – your contribution will assist restoration and operation of heritage ships. Crewing also accumulates valuable service time. Volunteers also enjoy the benefits of working together in a rewarding social environment.
