Diversicare is a community care division that provides care across Queensland for older people. At the moment we have a program named CVS: Community Visitors Scheme. This program helps to improve the quality of life and overall well-being of socially isolated, culturally and linguistically diverse, residents in aged care facilities

Volunteering as a community visitor can be a rewarding experience. By forging a friendship with an older person, volunteers have a chance to make a positive difference in their life – as well as their own. If you are willing to dedicate *one hour per fortnight* to offer companionship and friendship, this is your opportunity. Mandatory requirements are:

• You need to be warm, caring, and reliable • Be able to commit to at least 1hr visit per fortnight • Have a current and satisfactory Police Check or the ability to obtain one and certification of 3 doses of Covid Vaccination. • Be able to supply referees
