We are seeking a volunteer who has a bright, pleasant and positive nature and a compassionate, empathetic, warm caring presence to join our Endoscopy Volunteer team.

This role will require you to: • Assist Day procedures staff with tasks as directed • Make cups of tea/coffee and offer a sandwich to patients in recovery • Have friendly and caring conversations with patients • Interact in a team and to interact positively and good-naturedly • Maintain and respect confidentiality

In this role you will: • Provide caring and supportive assistance to the patients and the staff of the Endoscopy Department • Welcome, accompany and assist patients as they transfer between the services within the Endoscopy Department • Provide a genuine caring spirit, understanding and good humour as patients recover from their procedures.

We have one shift available: Monday 12.30pm - 4.30pm

Plus there are opportunities to cover other shifts if other volunteers are away and if you are available!
