Training

All training and mentoring is provided. The Unit Leader training takes approximately 6-9 months to complete, through a mix of online learning, zoom/in person workshops and on-the-job mentoring. You can start in the role before completing the qualification.

Time required

Running activities for girls - 2 hours per week at least during school terms. Planning and admin 0.5-1 hour per week. Attending team meetings 2 hours per month. Other activities are optional.

Reimbursement

Uniform is provided and all expenses are reimbursed.

Covid-19 vaccination
National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

Female Adult. Two references to be provided after first interview. Must be fit enough to pass CPR first aid training. Sense of humour, likes to be with people, can enjoy games. A we communicate via email and messaging between meetings, volunteers should be, or be prepared to become, computer-literate (email, internet, word processing) and have reliable access to a computer (e.g. local library).
