The Carers Choir is a genU initiative consisting of musically gifted people from around the Geelong region who, when they are not working as unpaid carers for their partners or loved ones, congregate on a weekly basis to rehearse their vocal chops. The genU Carers Choir perform at public events on a semi-regular basis.

In 2021, we are seeking a Carers Choir Booking Coordinator to support the Carers Choir to manage their busy schedule events!

As the Booking Coordinator you will facilitate their booking process and keep them up to date with their schedule of events.

The role provides an opportunity to develop your event management skills and engage with a range of community groups.

The Essentials:

You must have your own computer, internet and phone to coordinate bookings (we will support you to get set up!)

Excellent administration skills with knowledge and experience using Outlook and associated booking functions. You will also have exceptional customer service skills and love being organised!

Musicians and live performers are welcome to apply as well!

Regular assistance is available to you via the Choir Lead to support you along the way!

Program Hours: This role requires the commitment of a few hours per month on a flexible adhoc basis.
