We are looking for someone with administrative skills to take on the role of Secretary to the Committee for Cockburn Toy Library. This role would suit someone who has recently retired or stepped away from the workforce but wants to keep their skills sharp and stay connected with their local community.

The role includes:

• Liaising with the President to compile and distribute the agenda for bi-monthly meetings
• Attending bi-monthly meetings and taking minutes of those meetings
• Monitoring the Toy Library’s g-mail account and forwarding emails to the relevant committee member

The role is flexible allowing you to volunteer mostly from home or work from the toy library. You can stick to the secretary role or get involved in everything else that goes on at the toy library too.

Generally the volunteer will work alone, but will also be part of a committee and be in regular contact with the committee.
