A little about us:

Opportunities Australia is a community-based charity focused on giving job seekers training necessary for finding employment and setting up pathways that connect the right candidates to potential employers.

We also train entrepreneurs in setting up their businesses.

The role:

We are looking for a project manager to overlook developments in various departments of our fledgling charity, and make sure that progress is being made in line with the timeline set for each goal. You will be working remotely on email, phone, Zoom, and Slack.

Currently our ongoing projects include: facilitating our mentors in establishing a career-counselling course; securing funding and sponsorships; increasing enrolment for our free training; finding employers willing to hire our graduates.

You will have relevant experience in project management, where you juggled multiple tasks, made sure deadlines were met, and raised concerns when issues were found. As an organised overseer, you will be the first point of contact for many of our staff when it comes to keeping projects on course.
