Who we are FOXG1 Foundation Australia is a charity dedicated to raising awareness of FOXG1 and trying to find a cure for FOXG1. By studying FOXG1, we can also understand to prevent or cure diseases such as autism, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, and schizophrenia.

About the role: As a Salesforce Developer at FoxG1, your primary focus will be custom Salesforce development and integration with other services. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design, test, document, and implement new applications as well as enhance and maintain existing ones. You will also provide production support for applications by trouble shooting issues, proposing solutions, testing fixes, and migrating solutions.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop technical specifications based on functional specifications and prototypes provided by the product design team
• Develop, enhance, debug, support, analyze, maintain and test new/existing
• Design develop and manage integrations with other systems and platforms e.g. job portal and social media
• Work with development team/product owner to identify system enhancements and/or new applications to meet business needs
• Contribute to all technical aspects of projects under development.
• Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements
• Take ownership of escalated or complex issues or problems and follow through to resolution
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support
• Work independently to make decisions regarding the resolution of issues
• Use development best practices to ensure high code quality standards are met
• Follow the team’s established agile processes, which include both short- and long-term planning, cross functional support, and demonstrating working software.
• Able to connect technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Able to clearly communicate and provide positive recommendation of improvements to existing software applications
• Understanding of the importance of clean code and integrated testing while following design best practices (data structure and design patterns)

Required Skills and Experience

• Salesforce certified Platform Developer
•  Have a fundamental understanding of integrations between Salesforce and third party systems e.g. Job portal and Social Media
•  Experience with JavaScript. HTML and CSS
• Experience using Salesforce to configure, code and support integrations using any of the following: Salesforce process automation and workflow rules, Apex programming, batch jobs, sharing & security, Lightning component framework, reports/dashboards
• Experience with data migration to include integration, data cleansing and import/export of large volumes of data
• Experience in programmatic features, which include but not limited to APEX, SOQL, visualforce page, triggers, lighting web component, batch, sync and async plus various Salesforce APIs
