Our preference is that you can demonstrate that you have completed all of, or selected parts of, the ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. The selected parts we are interested in are:- ACMVET146 ACMVET403 ACMVET406 ACMVET407 ACMVET408 ACMVET410 ACMGA5 307 ACMSPE 305

Your tasks would include:

1. making ethogram observations of the cats in our care;
2. managing 5 Freedom initiatives and compliance with Animals Victoria guidelines including accommodation, nutrition and litter management;
3. taking non-invasive samples of faeces and urine for analysis;
4. under the direction of a veterinarian, apply paramedical support and provide samples to pathology;
5. carry out welfare visits for cats and kittens in foster care; and
6. carry out data entry as required in the Alley Katz Australia Org. Animal Record System.
