As a valued Pathfinder, your role will entail:

Greet and welcome visitors to Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) Provide support to Clinics C, A, B, F & G as appropriate.

Assist families with check-ins and escort family to destination if required.

Build relationships with the PCH Hospital staff.

Liaise with Hospital staff and other clinics to promote the Family Room and KMM.

Liaise with the social work department to see if they have any requirements e.g. walk new families to the Nedlands House.

Provide relevant info on hospital and local amenities such as shops, cafes, rest rooms, baby feeding areas, taxis, car parking and public transport.

Provide directions around the Hospital and show families where the Ronald McDonald Family Room and KMM are.

Promote our RMHC WA services eg: Ronald McDonald Family Room and KMM and activities available in these spaces.

Make people aware of the wider PCH services such as the Stitches Buggy

Identify families/individuals who appear ‘lost’.

Guide families and visitors around the hospital.

Complete final sweep at end of day of all Clinics.

At all times be a positive ambassador for RMHC WA.
