  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Ability to engage with, provide appropriate support to, and be a positive role model for volunteers
  • Promotes working safely for both volunteers and team members of the host organisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany and support a volunteer on a weekly or fortnightly basis to host organisation
  • Support volunteer to accomplish workplace tasks as independently as possible
  • Encouraging and promoting independence and ensuring the volunteer experiences inclusion and social aspects of the workplace
  • Reporting any issues arising including potential hazards and risks
  • Promoting positive role modelling to the volunteer and workplace community
