The Telelink program is a regular telephone-based activity group offering social support. This opportunity will appeal to a personable and engaging volunteer with an interest in facilitating telephone group discussions with a focus on literature. This role will allow you to master your group facilitation skills, while supporting people to build valuable connections and enjoy group activities as part of their social goals, with the added flexibility of facilitating the group from the comfort of your home.

Our ideal volunteer will have a passion for literature and a knack for sparking conversation. The role may involve listening to short audio-book excerpts and facilitating group discussion amongst the participants. You will share your love of books and poetry, whilst keeping conversations flowing by posing insight, revealing questions and ensuring all participants are actively engaged in the activity and discussion. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.
