We need a Volunteer Coordinator, who -
•Should uphold the values of Better Together Community Support while providing support to volunteers to do the same
•Will be involved in the recruitment and management of volunteers for Better Together Community Support.
•Will collaborate with the Community Development Coordinator to identify new volunteer roles within the organisation.
Responsibilities (may include):
•Collaborate with Community Development Coordinator to create, update and distribute the Volunteer Handbook to all volunteers.
•Collaborate with Better Together Community Support Corporate services, Community Development Team in the recruitment, training and support of volunteers.
•Collaborate with Better Together Community Development Team to create and promote Better Together Community Support volunteer opportunities to the community.
•Collaborate with the Community Development team to deliver volunteer workplace inductions and identified training.
•Keep records of volunteers ‘work hours’ and ‘fuel reimbursements’
•Collaborate with the Community Development team to celebrate volunteering at two (minimum) formal events each year.
•Support the Community Development team in managing daily workflow for the volunteers.
•Liaise with the Community Development team to implement volunteer ‘performance review’.
•Provide emotional, administrative, educative support to volunteers.
•Provide feedback to the Leadership team onmatters that concern volunteers eg WH&S, training needs, organisation culture, celebrations, new opportunities.
