Foodbank Queensland is the largest hunger relief charity in the state. We believe all Queenslanders deserve access to good quality food all year round. However, every single day, Queenslanders are going hungry. That’s why we are working with hundreds of frontline charities and schools across Queensland to get food to those who need it most.

What is Foodbank Queensland’s Community Impact? • We feed 48,000 Queenslanders in need, and 33,000 school children per week. • We support 300 Food Relief Charities, and 300 School Breakfast Programs each year. • We source 14 million kilograms of food, distributed as 25 million meals equivalent each year. • We reduce landfill CO2-e emissions by 26 million kilograms each year.

Stock Assistants duties include greeting members and assisting them to collect food relief, advising members on item limits, monitoring stock, replacing stock, and monitoring all visitors to ensure safe loading practices.

We're looking for self-starters with a reasonable level of physical fitness to help out in the Stock Assistant role. You'll have the ability to work as part of a team and the ability to work alongside people from all walks of life.

TASKS INCLUDE:

• Maintaining pick face to ensure a safe & clean area for our member charities • Replacing pallets/stock in the pick face • Monitor stock in the freezers/chillers
