The Job Foodbank Queensland’s Order Packer role is extending. Our Order Packers fill and pack online click & collect orders for distribution to hundreds of our member charities to get the most food to communities all throughout Queensland. In this position, you will work alongside staff and other volunteers to ensure safety and accuracy while packing.

Tasks include: • Using an assigned online pick slip scanner when necessary • Fill the received order with products in the warehouse • Safe use of a pallet jack, as well as lifting boxes and moving products (up to 15kg) • Maintaining a safe, clean warehouse environment • Aiding and educating members about new ordering and receival process – finding and helping guide members to collect the correct orders listed on pick slips • Monitoring shopping to ensure food safety and ordering processes are adhered to • Other tasks could include- tagging trolleys, getting signatures from members as orders are collected, returning pick slips to the correct trays, labelling products, splitting pallets and helping members to complete any returns forms
