Make Your Change is giving cause-driven movements an online home with a ‘one-stop shop’ for turning motivation into action. We are building a common place to share information, discover new opportunities, and collaborate to make systemic change possible.

The role:

Make Your Change is seeking digital marketing specialists who can help increase our reach and engagement with our audiences. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills, whilst supporting organizations and movements that are truly making a difference for the planet. We have a range of roles suiting a range of experience levels. You don’t need to be an expert in one or any of the fields below. Enthusiastic team players that support the vision will be preferred.

Where we need your help:

• Contributing to our overall digital marketing strategy including branding, positions, channel mix, messaging, and segmentation
• Implementing SEO strategy using Yoast for Wordpress and related tools.
• Supporting hashtag selection and analysis on Twitter/ Instagram/ Facebook/ Linkedin
• Analysing digital marketing performance using Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Facebook/Instagram Insights Dashboard, and other analytics tools.
• Support founders and other team members on understanding digital marketing concepts, training on tools, and advice to improve operating. ...and many other tasks that support the creation of an open-source movement.

To succeed in the role, you should have:

• A desire to be part of an organization focused on climate change action.
• A positive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to work with a team of passionate volunteers.
• Ability to work independently to help get the important stuff done.
• Openness to learning and trying new things.
• Confidentiality.
• Organisation skills, with an ability to communicate progress, and stay focused on assigned tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

It would be super nice if you have:

• Master-sensei abilities in key-word strategies, particularly for climate-related organizations.
• Ninja-skills in WordPress, Yoast, and Google Analytics.
• Social media wizardry on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin.
• An above-average love of indoor cats.
• An unrelenting passion to make a positive impact on the only planet we have.
• An understanding of organizations in the environmental and climate movement.
