Volunteer Program Assistant - Multi Sports Program
Cerebral Palsy AllianceDuring school terms, our Sports team will be running a Multi-Sports workshop for kids with a disability. This program is a great way for kids to learn new skills and play a variety of modified games including cricket, soccer, rugby, AFL, boccia and tennis.
OUR ASK Our Sports team needs one volunteer to help with all aspects of running the program Tasks include setting up and packing down equipment, help run games and activities, and of course, joining in on all the sporting action! No experienced required - just a willingness to have fun, laugh with a 'get amongst it' attitude.
WHO, WHAT, WHEN & WHERE Participants are aged 6-12 years old with a disability Multi Sports programs give participants an opportunity to learn new skills + try out a range of sports, some for the first time
DATE: Every Monday starting asap LOCATION: CPA Prairiewood - 224/244 Restwell Rd Prairiewood TIME: 4.00pm to 5.30pm each week
VOLUNTEER ROLE As a Multi-Sports volunteer, you'll be helping our Sports team to deliver a fun and engaging program that enables participants to:

learn basic skills of different sports in a dynamic group

play a range of modified games in every sport

practice taking instructions and applying their new skills in a group environment

meet new friends

improve their individual skills and feel more confident joining a mainstream sporting team

This role requires a valid NDIS worker check and WWC check and will be required to complete an NDIS training module.
