Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have an engaging 84 year old Maltese speaking gentleman who lives at home in Werribee who would benefit from the friendship of a MATURE MALTESE SPEAKING FEMALE visitor. He enjoys reminiscing about Malta, fishing, talking about holidays and enjoys coffee and lunch excursions.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Good Maltese communication skills are required for this recipient. Volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language recipients are very welcome to enquire.
