Be creative, fashion oriented, and have an eye for detail; Be respectful, non-judgemental and compassionate to all; Be reliable, punctual and displays a positive, can-do attitude; Demonstrates good communication and customer service skills; Works as part of a team and professionally represent the public face of Vinnies; Provide customers with an excellent shopping experience; Sort and price donations in relation to basic, fashion and designer; Assisting with product display; Processing sales through the POS (point of sale) cash register and Keeping the store and sorting area tidy, whilst maintaining safe work practices

Tasks include: Sort clothes & goods according to brands: Price merchandise in relation to basic, fashion and designer; Prepare and pack stock for distribution into our shops; and Assist with cleaning and keeping the Distribution Centre tidy, whilst maintaining safe work practices. Work with staff and other volunteers to rotate stock regularly and ensure visual merchandising of all stock is of a high standard; Maintain confidentiality and privacy in relation to any enquiries about Vinnies services which may come through the shop. Refer to Vinnies procedures regarding services; Assist with daily cleaning and overall presentation; Only operate equipment you have been trained to use and/or license Complete paperwork / documents accurately and as directed, including stock takes, delivery notes & stock movements; Notify your Line Manager if you identify any concerns, including Work Health and Safety or need additional training; Promote public understanding of the work of Vinnies; and Identify and report hazards as per WHS policy
