The program Red Cross is partnering with the City of Kalamunda, City of Swan and Shire of Mundaring to help prepare our community for emergencies. REDiPlan is a community education program providing practical information to help people make informed choices about preparing for all types of emergencies ranging from severe storms and house fire to extended power outages or health epidemics.

The opportunity Become a part of a network of volunteers that facilitate discussions and run sessions on practical ways to prepare for emergencies and really make a difference in YOUR community.

Your time commitment depends on your availability!

The impact Emergencies can happen at any time. They can be as large as a flood or fire, or as personal as a death in the family. But the better you prepare for them, the easier it is for you, your family and your community to recover.

We are seeing emergencies occur more frequently and with more severity. REDiPlan is a community education program that provides practical information to help people make informed choices in preparation for an emergency. It promotes resilience in households and communities, and helps people deal with the impacts of an emergency or disaster.
