Social Media Research Assistant
Mates Against Melanoma-The Jason Sprott FoundationRESPONSIBILITIES • Researching content ideas for social posts and campaigns • Assist in the Scheduling of all posts – Facebook Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn • Sourcing new content within the community and developing blogs/testimonials • Correspond with Team Leader and provide reports on statistical findings and performance of all social media platforms
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Outstanding research, communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with Facebook advertising and Facebook Ad Manager • Google for Nonprofit (Google Adwords, SEO & SEM would also be highly regarded) • Demonstrated experience using social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube • Commitment to grammar, punctuation and detail • Ability to quickly adapt to the nuance of a brand identity and voice • Experience developing and curating content or social media channels for business • Strong understanding and genuine passion for digital comms and social media • Innovative thinker who is always looking for a smarter way to work • Capacity to work independently • Previous voluntary experience with working in non – profit organisation(s) desired but not essential • Volunteers over the age of 21 are highly favoured and are looking for work experience
