As our Community Engagement Volunteer Officer will be a valuable asset to our team with our upcoming events. Working in conjunction with our Head of Programs you will help deliver fun and engaging Take 3 events. If you love all things events then this is the role for you.

Take 3 is a not-for profit organisation established in 2009 and based in Long Jetty on the Central Coast NSW. Take 3’s vision is to reduce plastic pollution globally and connect people to the planet. Our call to action is to simply Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere. Through our Clean Up events we hope to engage businesses within our community to take part in our cause.

Role responsibilities:

• Organising clean-up details with relevant Take 3 staff member – location, time, relevant organisations, media opportunities

• Organising clean-up logistics – permits, parking, rubbish removal, volunteers, equipment ect.

• Organising collateral for clients

• Collecting, collating and uploading clean-up data

• Collating final report for formatting/branding

Personal Skill-set:

• Enthusiasm for clean-ups

• Educational/outreach abilities a bonus

• Loves process and procedures

• First aid certificate (or be willing to attain one)

• Data management experience

• Report writing (desirable)

Commitment will be roughly 3-5 hours per week. Days and timings of work are flexible.
