The Day Club provides social and activity opportunities for older people, mostly still living at home, but who are unable to attend more active programs offered in their local community. (Membership criteria apply.) The Club meets in the local community hall one day a week All who attend pay a contribution for the day.

We are seeking a mature volunteer. We are looking for an experienced cook who can decide on the menu for morning tea and lunch, shop for the food (which will be reimbursed) and cook delicious meals for our community lunch once a week. This role may involve setting up and clearing tables and delivering meals and if necessary, helping with bingo, quizzes etc.
