Be Uplifted Breast Cancer Charity is a registered charity that focuses on offering practical support and financial assistance to breast cancer patients and survivors in the local Brisbane area. We are all volunteers and all funds raised go directly to support our recipients. Be Uplifted Inc’s Strathpine Charity Op Shop receives amazing donations all year round and stocks clothing, fashion accessories, bric a brac, manchester, baby and childrens clothing, footwear, nursery items, handmade crafts by our team of volunteers, handmade quilts by our talented volunteer quilters and more. Aside from being op-shop mecca for Op-shoppers, the shop acts as a first point of contact for women and families seeking assistance from the hardships that come with a breast diagnosis.

It is the main generator of funding for the services and financial support our recipients rely upon. The shop is a great place to work for anyone interested in community and particularly in generating funding to support people on their breast cancer journey. Duties would include • Providing customer service to ensure an excellent shopping experience • Sorting and preparing donations and applying pricing • Keeping the store tidy & maintaining safe work practices • Cleaning and contributing to a passionate volunteer team • Stock merchandising

All training is provided. The team of volunteers are supportive and inclusive.
