Cockburn Toy Library is a not for profit providing high quality toys to the community. We are looking for regular volunteers who can assist families with returning, checking over and loaning toys, as well as some minor administration and maintenance tasks.

We are looking for people who can commit to weekly or fortnightly shifts of 2 hour duration. We expect volunteers to be friendly, organised, reliable and have basic computer skills. You will be trained & supervised, as well as getting to work alongside other volunteer members of Cockburn Toy Library. We ask that all regular volunteers obtain a Working With Children Check as part of your role, and will help you organise this.

Key Tasks: Assisting with set up and pack away for our open sessions. Processing of returns and loans for member families Counting and checking returned toys Returning toys to their storage shelves *Minor repairs, labelling and cleaning of toys

Engagement in the local community Administration and Office skills Customer service skills Exposure to a wide variety of toys and people!

The Cockburn Toy Library is a not for profit organisation run by volunteers made up mostly from its own members. We have a huge selection of toys, dress-ups, games and puzzles available for members and their families to enjoy. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to weekly or fortnightly shifts during our opening hours.
