Together, we are the leading National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (Indigenous), LGBTIQA+, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Diversity and Inclusion focused organisation, which delivers the Not-for-Profit Community Justice and Social Services Program operating across Australia.

We are looking for organised individuals who have exceptional communication skills, a passion for volunteering and has the ability to form productive working relationships with a wide range of employees.

THE ROLE

As the Human Resources (People & Culture) Administrator, you will be required to provide a minimum 6 months commitment, consisting 10 hours per week or fortnight. Human Resources (People & Culture) Administrator are responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, in addition to contributing to the development and review of HR policies, and analysing data metrics.

This is a great opportunity to have a kick start on your future career, however, we do ask our applicants to hold a qualification of a similar background and/or experience (especially within recruitment).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the HR team with end-to-end recruitment including hiring, inducting and on-boarding new staff in a timely manner.
  • Assisting staff with employment-related matters including leave management and interpretation of enterprise agreements, awards and conditions of employment.
  • Providing HR advice in employee relations and performance management matters.
