We do a food collection out at Gepps Cross treasure markets, where we fill a large van full of fresh produce. We then drive back to the warehouse and unload the van – we prepare for the next day by pre-packing food bags for families and sorting the food from the good and the bad. This is so we can make the work-load less on Monday.
All volunteers are to adhere to 1.5m social distancing rules and handwashing, aprons and gloves (supplied by us) are to be worn when handling food!
