Processes which the Kitchen Assistant may be asked to help will include:  Salad preparation  Assisting the cook with the preparation and cooking of desserts, main meals and soup.  Peeling and preparing vegetables  Plating desserts  Plating hot and chilled meals  Meal assembly and packing (the eskies)  Washing up and stowing  General cleaning in the kitchen
