Citizen AdvocacyCitizen Advocacy is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services. Our aim is to provide additional support to vulnerable people with an intellectual disability by matching them with a caring member of the community who becomes their friend and advocate.
If you would like to know more about the role, we’d love to talk to you! You don’t need special qualifications or skills other than having a big heart, being reliable and the desire to make a difference in someone’s life. A driving licence is usually required.
PLEASE NOTE: The nature of this role is NOT suitable for student placements or gaining work experience in the sector. We are unable to sign forms for Centrelink purposes.
