The Dampier Seafarers Centre is a not for profit welfare charity serving merchant crews in the Port of Dampier. They seek to help seafarers with their needs and assist with issues that they face like communication, fatigue, mental health, abadonment, piracy and shipwreck.
Volunteers are required to assist with maintaining store stock to support their Store to Ship Program for International Seafarers entering local ports. Tasks will include stock collection from Karratha and delivery to Dampier, as well as packing shelves with stock.
Applicants will require a 'C' Class licence, and Dampier Seafarers will provide appropriate screening and induction process.
