Companionship to an elderly gent with - TUART HILL

Become a Lifeline WA Volunteer and join our Community Visitors Scheme. The CVS aims to enrich the quality of life of older people living in isolation either at home or in Aged Care.

The basic requirement is a visit every two weeks, but best outcomes come with a weekly visit.

Visits can be spent doing something you both enjoy - chatting, reminiscing, play board games, watch tv/dvds, go for a walk or an outing.

You'll be provided with support and training.

Being a community visitor means you're helping to relieve the social isolation of someone who doesn't have any visitors or may be estranged from family for whatever reason. Who knows, you may develop a solid lasting friendship.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
