Bring a smile and cheer up this elderly Italian lady during weekly or fortnightly visits (phone calls in lockdown) in Avondale Heights. A female volunteer is requested for this role, where time may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference to her life - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to weekly phone calls/visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation and ongoing support.
