Taking on this position would result in engaging with other club volunteers and forming new friendships. The main role would entail keeping the gardens and surrounds tidy. Depending on the applicant and interest, the role can be expanded to include minor building maintenance and assisting our function coordinator to set up with function room hire. The ground maintenance role was previously managed by a single groundskeeper who enjoyed working autonomously. The club is keen to explore increasing numbers to have a team approach to manage this role as per the interest generated. The main grounds are mowed by an independent contractor with care of surrounding land/gardens being the primary task.
