Volunteers are matched with children in the Read with Me Program who attend child care centres on the Gold Coast, to read one on one to enhance a child's ability to move confidentially into primary School. The children who participate in the program have been identified by the Child care centre as they may have a developmental concern.

This position is ideal for people who enjoy reading, working with children, interested in child development and early intervention and hope to make a difference in a child's life progressing through their school years.

Volunteers are matched with 3 children, to read and complete activities one on one. In total 1.5 hours per week (30 minutes per child).

Volunteers are asked to commit 1.5 hours per week between February to November.
