The volunteers we are seeking will ideally:

 Be a people person - welcoming, encouraging, and positive.  Be willing to work within the ethos of the St Vincent de Paul Society, and  Be respectful to others and flexible in their attitude to work and the team.  Volunteers do not require previous experience as valuable on-the-job training is provided.

The volunteers we are seeking for this new role will ideally:  Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and to be part of a team  Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation.  Be respectful to others and flexible in their attitude to work and be a part of a team.  Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and be willing to assist those who are most in need throughout our Communities as a team.

Volunteers do not require previous experience as valuable on-the-job training is provided and as Sumner store is located at the Main Distribution centre for the Western Region - we are spoilt for choice of roles that you can try. You can work in retail, warehouse or perhaps in the donation sorting hub - The choices are endless!
