Repair Hub Coordinator
The Hub 6163 - CVRCDo you want to be involved in a great cause? How about one that has great social and environmental impact! The Hub 6163 is looking for you to coordinate their monthly Repair Hub.
The Repair Hub is happening in Hamilton Hill, on the third Sunday of each month. The Repair Hub is a bustling place to connect with members from the community and have broken items repaired.
The Repair Hub Coordinator role is an excellent opportunity to gain leadership and people management skills, expand communications experience, be involved in the community, and make new friends.
Key Tasks
- Promote and advertise the Repair Hub
- Recruit and manage volunteers to support Hub activities
- Coordinate the day's activities (reimbursed)
- Purchasing items need for repairs
- Work with Volunteers to set up and pack down of the Hub eg. Trestle tables, chairs and signage.
- Celebrate volunteering achievements and share volunteer stories
