Beyond Blindness is currently looking for a hardworking, motivated maintenance volunteers who are able to do basic handyperson tasks with a warm and friendly disposition. Days and times are flexible around the schedule.

The work will spread across north, south, east and west of Adelaide providing assistance with small maintenance jobs around our members homes, we can define locations that are close to your home.

General maintenance duties will include things like - light globe replacement, replacing smoke detector batteries, tap washers, fixing shelves, organising cupboards etc.

Individuals will need to work as part of a team and or independently with minimal supervision and who are able to relate to seniors and people with a disability.

Ideally the successful candidate should possess these desirable capabilities: • Punctual and reliable • High attention to detail • • Driver’s Licence
