URGENTLY REQUIRED- visitors to sit and chat, play cards or go for a walk with residents living in aged care facilities across the Peel Region. Committed volunteer visitors to make one-to-one visits at least fortnightly to an aged care facility of your choice. A wonderfully rewarding opportunity to enrich the life of someone who may be at risk of social isolation. The Community Visitors Scheme is a national program funded by the Australia Government. National Police checks are required and conducted by Baptistcare at no cost to the volunteer. COVID-19 vaccinations are also required.
