Volunteer to provide emergency relief to clients
Casey North Community Information and Support ServiceCNCISS provides a range of programs and resources targeted in particular, to disadvantaged and low income households. The organisation relies heavily on the commitment of volunteers to assist in the delivery of programs to provide essential and critical services to the local community. CNCISS recognises the value of volunteering for both the organisation and volunteer, and strives to ensure all volunteering is a positive experience.
Information and support volunteers provide support and referrals to clients in crisis in a confidential, non judgemental and sensitive manner.
You will work as part of a team of volunteer and paid staff; and as part of this team help and advice is always available. This role would suit a retired social worker or welfare worker.
